The Patrick and Catherine Weldon Donaghue Medical Research Foundation was established as a charitable testamentary trust by Ethel Donaghue in memory of her parents. The Foundation is governed by two trustees, Lynne Garner and Bank of America as represented by Amy R. Lynch, Senior Vice President.
Nancy C. Yedlin, MPH, Vice President, leads the Foundation's efforts to improve the transfer of promising research results for use in the health care practice and policy worlds. In this role, Nancy works with Donaghue grantees, other foundations and individuals and institutions from across the health care spectrum on projects and initiatives aimed at knowledge uptake.
She plays an instrumental role in the design of Donaghue's conferences and public outreach efforts on the issue. Nancy joined the Foundation in September 2005 as Director, Program Communication & Management with responsibility for managing two of the Foundation grant programs.
Nancy received her master's degree in Public Health from the Yale School of Medicine in 1981. For over 15 years, Nancy worked in the managed care and corporate benefit arena. She held leadership positions at Healthnet/PHS and in the Health Benefits Strategy Group at Pitney Bowes Corporation. Nancy lives with her family in New Haven.
