Nancy Heaton
Nancy Heaton is the Executive Director of the Foundation for Community Health, a leader and catalyst for the development of innovative and effective rural health delivery that focuses on prevention, access and community-level collaborations. Located in the quiet corner of Connecticut, FCH has a big impact on the residents of greater Harlem Valley in New York and the northern Litchfield Hills of Connecticut. As health-focused philanthropies active in Connecticut, FCH and Donaghue enjoy working together to support each other’s mission.
One example of a shared activity is the Connecticut Health Funders survey. FCH, Donaghue, and four other Connecticut-based funders have worked together over the past year and a half to develop and support a patient-level health survey focused in Connecticut.
Nancy Heaton is active in policy issues that shape the opportunities for FCH to improve healthcare. Last year she served as the co-chair of the Preventive Healthcare Advisory Committee of the Sustinet Health Partnership Board of Directors.
