New Donaghue Policy Adviser
Michelle Spoto has recently joined the Donaghue Policy Advisory Committee for a two-year term.
Spoto is a fourth-year dental medicine and PhD student at University of Connecticut. She received her undergraduate degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. Her career goal is to be a clinician scientist and to conduct research in dental medicine.
In joining the Donaghue Foundation’s Policy Advisory Committee, Spoto is looking forward to learning how program development and policy issues shape the work of philanthropies involved in medical and health research.
Although PAC members usually have a four-year term, students on the PAC members have a two-year term to better accommodate their education schedule.
