We would like to acknowledge our 2017 Greater Value Portfolio grantees Amol Navathe, MD, PhD, and Mitesh S. Patel, MD, on the publication of their Opioid Trial study in Health Affairs. Their study “The Effect of Clinician Feedback Interventions on Opioid Prescribing” evaluates the effect of feedback interventions for clinicians in reducing opioid prescribing.
Congratulations to our colleague and Greater Value Portfolio statistical reviewer Sarah Robertson, MS, PhD, on the conferral of her doctorate in health services research from Brown University. Dr. Robertson has also assumed a new position as a postdoc fellow at Harvard University.
We would like to commend our grantee Kathrene Valentine, PhD, for facilitating her first meeting as a PI on her Donaghue-funded R3 grant. Dr. Valentine and her team aim to “shrink the gap in decision support access & use for our Spanish-speaking patients.”
